Performing Earth - Mexico

A full day of Performing Earth workshops took place at the nationally famous Edron Academy in Mexico City. The student practitioners in Mexico proved to be some of the most creative the project has met so far, the groups involved had a passion to do well and succeed in theatre and this was reflected in the work that was produced.
At The Edron Academy students saw a short presentation about Performing Earth before taking part in some short warm up activities. With one group in particular, the atmosphere and use of energy was superb even at this early stage in the workshop. The devising stage of the workshop that followed produced a lot of imagination, with young practitioners showing their maturity and desire for the stage.

After the Mexico City workshops at the Edron was the long bus ride across Mexico, a two day trip by road with a quick stop at the beach of VeraCruz on the east coast.
From there it was on to Cancun, where another very professional looking group from The International American School Of Cancun would participate in Performing Earth workshops.
This was a very large performance group who applied themselves well during the workshops. They clearly had a deep knowledge of theatre and performance, and were not scared to use their imagination during improvisation activities.
In general the Performing Earth participants in Mexico were very focused and great to work with, particularly considering the 35 degree plus temperatures the workshops were taking place in.

Performing Earth - Poland
Performing Earth at British International School Of Gdansk, Poland, March 23rd 2010
Students of the British International School Of Gdansk took part in Performing Earth workshops on the trip to Poland. Some very young groups of Performing Earth participants, and a wide range of nationalities, with one workshop group including seven different nationalities.
Performing Earth jest profesjonalnym teatru projektu od strony północnej Anglii. Performing Earth ma na celu podniesienie świadomości w mocy teatru poprzez warsztaty i w inscenizacji przedstawień, zarówno w Anglii, wokół pozostałych krajów na świecie. Projekt jest obecnie pracuje na Dalekim Wschodzie na całym szeregu warsztatów i parametrów tym przekonaniem jest to, że każda osoba, w każdym zakątku świata, mógł być w teatrze.
