Performing Earth is a professionally-run performance project from Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England. Performing Earth aims to increase awareness in the power of performance through workshops and in staged productions, both in the UK and around the rest of the world. The project is currently working in the far east on a series of workshops and performances

The belief is that every individual, in any corner of the globe, has the right to perform. As a result, Performing Earth aims to travel far and wide, with shows created by the project itself aswell as the people it meets on the way. Performing Earth Festival 2009, Broadway Musical Arts Center, Godeok, Seoul, South Korea

The Performing Earth Festival in Seoul presented workshops and a show bringing together different groups that Performing Earth has worked with throughout the year. The Kyeongan project joined Broadway Musical Arts Center, an Adult workshop group, as well as Performing Earth Practitioners to create a show in one of the most principal cities in the far east

Daegu Fringe Festival 2009, Daegu, South Korea

Performing Earth was at Daegu Fringe Festival 2009 with the Broadway Musical Arts Center fringe production of the hit musical 'Mama Mia'. Located on the riverside, this annual festival was a busy array of theatre shows, music, and other such performance based events. Our production was very well attended with hundreds finding time to stop by our stage to see the show. For further images visit the 'Gallery'
