Welcome to Performing Earth;

Performing Earth is a professionally-run performance project from Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England, led by actor and theatre director Daniel Walker. Performing Earth aims to increase awareness in the power of performance through workshops and in staged productions, both in the UK and around the rest of the world. The project is currently working in the far east on a series of workshops and performances

'In performance, there is no such thing as a rich or poor country, every country is rich in culture...' - Performing Earth

The belief is that every individual, in any corner of the globe, has the right to perform. As a result, Performing Earth aims to travel far and wide, with shows created by the project itself aswell as the people it meets on the way. The project is constantly expanding and evolving, with recent work including visits to South Korea, Poland, Mexico, USA, China and Australia. Please feel free to use the 'InterACT Zone' to discuss theatre and performance, ESL learning, or just to meet others. The Resource page may also be of good use to you.
